North Carolina High School Football - Northwood crushed by Harnett Central

August 22, 2025: Angier, NC 27501

Harnett Central Trojans (Angier, NC) boosters left the game content Friday as they observed their football squad crush the visiting Northwood Chargers (Pittsboro, NC), 55-7 in a non-league test.

The Trojans now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Overhills for a non-league test on Thursday, August 28. Harnett Central will meet a Jaguars squad coming off a 38-17 non-league win over Southern Lee (Sanford, NC). The Jaguars record now stands at 1-0.

The Chargers (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Asheboro (Asheboro, NC). The Blue Comets go into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Asheboro bounced High Point Central (High Point, NC), 59-0, in a non-league challenge.
