Pennsylvania High School Football - McDowell crushed by Highland

The Highland Hornets walloped the host McDowell Trojans football team by a score of 49-10 in Friday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Hornets meet the Hudson Explorers (Hudson, OH) in a non-league test, on Friday, August 29. Highland will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record. The Explorers come into the test with a 1-0 record after their 28-7 non-league win over Austintown-Fitch (Youngstown, OH).

With the defeat, McDowell drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Trojans host Mentor (Mentor, OH) to meet the Cardinals in a non-league test on Friday, August 29. The Cardinals go into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Mentor won 35-28 in their recent non-league challenge against Olmsted Falls (Olmsted Falls, OH)
