The Laurens Raiders football team (Laurens, SC), was crushed 56-17 in Friday's non-league bout with the host Hillcrest Rams (Simpsonville, SC)

With the win, Hillcrest advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Rams travel to Clover (Clover, SC) to encounter the Blue Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, August 29. The Blue Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Clover lost 35-34 in their recent non-league contest against Chambers (Charlotte, NC)
