Utah High School Football - Hillcrest nudged by Union

August 22, 2025: Midvale, UT 84047

In Friday's non-league game, the Union Cougars (Roosevelt, UT) football team edged the host Hillcrest Huskies (Midvale, UT), by a tally of 37-34.

With the win, Union advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Cougars travel to Mountain View (Orem, UT) to encounter the Bruins in a non-league bout on Friday, August 29. The Bruins go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Mountain View lost 35-27 in their recent non-league bout against Tooele (Tooele, UT)

The Huskies now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Cottonwood for a non-league bout on Friday, August 29. Hillcrest will encounter a Colts team coming off a 77-0 non-league loss to Bear River (Garland, UT). The Colts record now stands at 0-2.
