The Sangre de Cristo Thunderbirds were victorious over the visiting Holly Wildcats football team by a score of 36-14 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Thunderbirds face the Las Animas Trojans (Las Animas, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, August 29. Sangre de Cristo will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record.

The Wildcats (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Dayspring Christian Academy (Greeley, CO). The Eagles enter the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.
