Wisconsin High School Football - Holmen crushes Medford

August 22, 2025: Medford, WI 54451

Holmen Vikings (Holmen, WI) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Medford Raiders (Medford, WI), 56-16 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Holmen improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Sauk Prairie (Prairie du Sac, WI) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Friday, August 29. The Eagles go into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Sauk Prairie won 21-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Baraboo (Baraboo, WI)

The Raiders (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Onalaska (Onalaska, WI). The Hilltoppers come into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Onalaska triumphed over West Salem (West Salem, WI), 35-26, in a non-league test.
