Nevada High School Football - Incline nudges Sparks

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Incline Highlanders (Incline Village, NV) and the host Sparks Railroaders (Sparks, NV), witnessed Incline's football squad edge Sparks by a count of 21-15.

The Highlanders (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Hug (Reno, NV). The Hawks go into the non-league battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Hug was tipped by Damonte Ranch (Reno, NV), 61-0, in a non-league battle.

The Railroaders now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Spring Creek for a 3A Northern battle on Friday, August 29. Sparks will encounter a Spartans team coming off a 33-13 non-league win over Carson (Carson City, NV). The Spartans record now stands at 1-0.
