The Rockcastle County Rockets felled the host Jeffersontown Chargers football team by a score of 43-12 in Friday's non-league test.

The Rockets now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Russellville for a non-league test on Friday, August 29. Rockcastle County will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 21-7 non-league loss to Daviess County (Owensboro, KY). The Panthers record now stands at 0-1.

The Chargers (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Waggener (Louisville, KY). The Wildcats enter the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Waggener ran past Western (Louisville, KY), 36-0, in a non-league challenge.
