The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Northern Lehigh Bulldogs (Slatington, PA) and the host Lehighton Indians (Lehighton, PA), witnessed Northern Lehigh's football squad knock off Lehighton by a tally of 41-26.
The Bulldogs (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Northwestern Lehigh (New Tripoli, PA). The Tigers enter the non-league bout with a 1-0 record. In their last bout, Northwestern Lehigh overcame Wilson Area (Easton, PA), 42-14, in a non-league bout.
The Indians now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Bangor for a Colonial-Schuylkill - A contest on Thursday, August 28. Lehighton will confront a Slaters squad coming off a 42-21 non-league loss to Saucon Valley (Hellertown, PA). The Slaters record now stands at 0-1.
