The Lemmon/McIntosh Cowboys got by the visiting North Central Thunder football team by a score of 14-13 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Cowboys face the Hill City Rangers (Hill City, SD) in a Little Moreau (9 Man) challenge, on Friday, August 29. Lemmon/McIntosh will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Rangers go into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 72-32 non-league win over Stanley County (Fort Pierre, SD).
With the defeat, North Central drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Thunder travel to Dupree (Dupree, SD) to meet the Tigers in a non-league test on Friday, August 29. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 0-1. Dupree lost 42-6 in their recent non-league test against Lyman (Presho, SD)
