The Marion Harding Presidents (Marion, OH) football tipped the host Mt. Vernon Yellowjackets (Mt. Vernon, OH), 21-14 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Presidents now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ashland for a non-league contest on Friday, August 29. Marion Harding will battle a Arrows squad coming off a 43-10 non-league win over Bay (Bay Village, OH). The Arrows record now stands at 1-0.

Coming up next, the Yellowjackets battle the Newark Wildcats (Newark, OH) in a non-league contest, on Friday, August 29. Mt. Vernon will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
