Hawaii High School Football - Moanalua trounces Pearl City

August 22, 2025: Pearl City, HI 96782

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Moanalua Menehune football squad scored a decisive 55-7 triumph over the Pearl City Chargers.

The Menehune (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Nanakuli (Waianae, HI). The Golden Hawks go into the OIA I battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Nanakuli walloped Castle (Kaneohe, HI), 47-32, in a non-league battle.

The Chargers now have a 1-2 record. They play next when they host McKinley for a OIA II battle on Friday, August 29. Pearl City will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 35-6 non-league loss to Pac-Five (Honolulu, HI). The Tigers record now stands at 0-1.
