Pennsylvania High School Football - North Star defeats Moshannon Valley

August 22, 2025: Boswell, PA 15531

In Friday's non-league match, the host North Star Cougars football squad scored a good 35-19 victory over the Moshannon Valley Black Knights/Damsels.

The Cougars (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Juniata Valley (Alexandria, PA). The Hornets enter the Inter-County - North match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Juniata Valley was beaten by Newport (Newport, PA), 24-19, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Black Knights/Damsels confront the Everett Warriors (Everett, PA) in a non-league match, on Friday, August 29. Moshannon Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Warriors enter the match with a 1-0 record after their 34-12 non-league win over West Branch (Morrisdale, PA).
