    The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Nease Panthers (Ponte Vedra, FL) and the host Ponte Vedra Sharks (Ponte Vedra, FL), witnessed Nease's football squad knock off Ponte Vedra by a tally of 38-28.

    The Panthers (1-0) will now prepare for their bout against Creekside (St. Johns, FL). The Knights go into the non-league bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Creekside dropped by Mandarin (Jacksonville, FL), 42-20, in a non-league bout.

    The Sharks now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Bartram Trail for a non-league bout on Friday, August 29. Ponte Vedra will confront a Bears squad coming off a 27-17 non-league loss to Sumner (Riverview, FL). The Bears record now stands at 0-1.
