The North Pole Patriots football team (North Pole, AK), was crushed 48-7 in Friday's league bout with the host Palmer Moose (Palmer, AK)

With the win, Palmer advances its record to 1-1 on the season. The Moose host Juneau-Douglas (Juneau, AK) to encounter the Crimson Bears in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 30. The Crimson Bears go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Juneau-Douglas won 41-22 in their recent league contest against Bettye Davis East Anchorage (Anchorage, AK)

Coming up next, the Patriots confront the Service Cougars (Anchorage, AK) in a non-league contest, on Friday, August 29. North Pole will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Cougars enter the contest with a 1-0 record after their 19-12 league win over Juneau-Douglas (Juneau, AK).
