California High School Football - North over Summit Academy

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the North Saxons (Torrance, CA) and the visiting Summit Academy Bears (Bluffdale, UT), witnessed North's football squad knock off Summit Academy by a tally of 28-16.

The Saxons (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Centennial (Las Vegas, NV). The Bulldogs go into the non-league bout with a 0-1 record.

The Bears now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Timpanogos for a non-league bout on Friday, August 29. Summit Academy will encounter a Timberwolves team coming off a 48-0 non-league loss to West (Salt Lake City, UT). The Timberwolves record now stands at 1-1.
