Ohio High School Football - Southview wallops Northview

The Southview Cougars football squad scored 40 points and limited the visiting Northview Wildcats to 0 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Clay for a Northern Lakes - Other test on Friday, August 29. Southview will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 28-7 non-league loss to Wapakoneta (Wapakoneta, OH). The Eagles record now stands at 0-1.

With the defeat, Northview drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Springfield (Holland, OH) to face the Blue Devils in a non-league game on Friday, August 29. The Blue Devils enter the game with a record of 1-0. Springfield won 42-14 in their recent non-league game against Maumee (Maumee, OH)
