The Pleasant Valley Raiders football squad scored 34 points and limited the visiting West End Patriots to 0 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Friday.

The Raiders now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Spring Garden for a non-league test on Friday, August 29. Pleasant Valley will face a Panthers team coming off a 44-28 non-league win over Sand Rock (Leesburg, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 1-0.

The Patriots (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Sand Rock (Leesburg, AL). The Wildcats go into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Sand Rock was ripped by Spring Garden (Spring Garden, AL), 44-28, in a non-league challenge.
