California High School Football - Wasco nudges Porterville

In Friday's non-league match, the host Wasco Tigers football squad scored a close 14-7 triumph over the Porterville Panthers.

The Tigers (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Ridgeview (Bakersfield, CA). The Wolf Pack go into the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Ridgeview nipped South (Bakersfield, CA), 20-0, in a non-league battle.

The Panthers now have a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Chavez for a non-league battle on Friday, August 29. Porterville will play a Titans team coming off a 7-0 non-league loss to Del Oro (Bakersfield, CA). The Titans record now stands at 0-1.
