Georgia High School Football - Riverdale falls to Trinity Christian

August 22, 2025: Sharpsburg, GA 30277

The Trinity Christian Lions felled the visiting Riverdale Raiders football team by a score of 34-8 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Lions meet the LaGrange Grangers (LaGrange, GA) in a AAA Region 2 test, on Friday, September 5. Trinity Christian will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record.

With the defeat, Riverdale drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Raiders host Mt. Zion (Jonesboro, GA) to meet the Bulldogs in a AAA Region 5 test on Friday, August 29. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 0-2. Mt. Zion lost 56-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Lowndes (Valdosta, GA)
