North Carolina High School Football - Southwest Guilford defeated by Rockingham County

In Friday's non-league outing, the Rockingham County Cougars (Wentworth, NC) football squad were winner over the host Southwest Guilford Cowboys (High Point, NC), by a margin of 32-16.

The Cougars now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Magna Vista for a non-league outing on Thursday, August 28.

With the defeat, Southwest Guilford drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Cowboys host Western Alamance (Elon, NC) to battle the Warriors in a non-league game on Friday, August 29. The Warriors enter the game with a record of 0-1. Western Alamance lost 28-7 in their recent non-league game against Northwest Guilford (Greensboro, NC)
