Tensas Academy Chiefs (St. Joseph, LA) boosters were content Friday as they observed their football squad thwart the visiting Union Christian Academy Lions (Farmerville, LA), 20-6 in a non-league match.

The Chiefs (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Prentiss Christian (Prentiss, MS). The Saints come into the non-league match with a 0-0 record.

Coming up next, the Lions meet the Franklin Academy Cougars (Winnsboro, LA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, August 29. Union Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
