In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Triway Titans football squad scored a close 23-21 triumph over the West Holmes Knights.
The Titans (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Norwayne (Creston, OH). The Bobcats go into the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Norwayne nipped St. Clairsville (St. Clairsville, OH), 47-27, in a non-league battle.
The Knights now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Orrville for a non-league match on Friday, August 29. West Holmes will confront a Red Riders squad coming off a 56-23 non-league win over Wooster (Wooster, OH). The Red Riders record now stands at 1-0.
