In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Waggener Wildcats football squad scored a decisive 36-0 triumph over the Western Warriors.
The Wildcats (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Jeffersontown (Louisville, KY). The Chargers come into the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Jeffersontown was routed by Rockcastle County (Mt. Vernon, KY), 43-12, in a non-league match.
Next up, the Warriors play the Valley Vikings (Louisville, KY) in a non-league battle, on Friday, August 29. Western will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Vikings go into the battle with a 1-0 record after their 30-28 non-league win over Eastern (Louisville, KY).
