The Worthington Kilbourne Wolves football squad scored 31 points and limited the visiting Watkins Memorial Warriors to 23 in the Wolves non-league triumph on Friday.
The Wolves now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Thomas Worthington for a non-league test on Friday, August 29. Worthington Kilbourne will meet a CARDINALS squad coming off a 48-17 non-league loss to Canal Winchester (Canal Winchester, OH). The CARDINALS record now stands at 0-1.
With the defeat, Watkins Memorial drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Warriors host Sheridan (Thornville, OH) to meet the Generals in a non-league test on Friday, August 29. The Generals come into the test with a record of 0-1. Sheridan lost 28-6 in their recent non-league test against Licking Valley (Newark, OH)
