The Delaware County Christian Knights smashed the host Upper Darby Royals soccer squad by a margin of 5-1 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Knights now hold a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Philadelphia Montgomery Christian Academy for a Bicentennial - Independence bout on Tuesday, September 2.

With the loss, Upper Darby drops to 0-2 on the season. The Royals host Cardinal O'Hara (Springfield, PA) to face the Lions in a non-league contest on Monday, August 25.
