Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Union Cougars (Roosevelt, UT) and the visiting Grand County Red Devils (Moab, UT), saw Union's soccer squad hold off Grand County by a count of 2-1.

The Cougars (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Juab (Nephi, UT). The Wasps enter the non-league battle with a 3-4 record. In their last battle, Juab tipped North Sanpete (Mt. Pleasant, UT), 4-3, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Red Devils battle the South Summit Wildcats (Kamas, UT) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, August 23. Grand County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Wildcats enter the battle with a 2-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Union (Roosevelt, UT).
