The Sanderson Spartans (Raleigh, NC) soccer nipped the visiting Cape Fear Colts (Fayetteville, NC), 2-1 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Spartans now hold a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Knightdale for a non-league contest on Monday, August 25. Sanderson will battle a Knights team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Smithfield-Selma (Smithfield, NC). The Knights record now stands at 1-1.
The Colts (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against St. Pauls (St. Pauls, NC). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 3-0 record.
