The Eastwood Eagles (Pemberville, OH) soccer overwhelmed the visiting Old Fort Stockaders (Old Fort, OH), 8-1 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Eagles now hold a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oak Harbor for a Northern Buckeye battle on Wednesday, August 27. Eastwood will battle a Rockets squad coming off a 6-1 league win over Otsego (Tontogany, OH). The Rockets record now stands at 2-1.
Next up, the Stockaders meet the Perkins Pirates (Sandusky, OH) in a Sandusky Bay match, on Monday, August 25. Old Fort will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Pirates come into the match with a 1-0 record after their 4-4 non-league Springfield (Holland, OH).
