Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Pike Central Chargers (Petersburg, IN) and the visiting Evansville Day Eagles (Evansville, IN), saw Pike Central's soccer squad knock off Evansville Day by a count of 4-1.

The Chargers (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Boonville (Boonville, IN). The Pioneers enter the non-league battle with a 0-0 record.

Next up, the Eagles confront the Mt. Vernon Wildcats (Mt. Vernon, IN) in a non-league match, on Saturday, August 23. Evansville Day will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Wildcats come into the match with a 1-1 record after their 3-1 league win over South Spencer (Rockport, IN).
