North Carolina High School Soccer - Myers Park nudges Holly Springs

In Friday's non-league test, the host Myers Park Mustangs soccer team scored a close 1-0 triumph over the Holly Springs Golden Hawks.
With the triumph, Myers Park advances its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Weddington (Matthews, NC) to play the Warriors in a non-league outing on Tuesday, August 26. The Warriors go into the outing with a record of 0-1. Weddington lost 1-0 in their recent non-league outing against South Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC)
Next up, the Golden Hawks play the Charlotte Catholic Cougars (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, August 23. Holly Springs will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Cougars go into the outing with a 2-0 record after their 4-2 non-league win over Hickory (Hickory, NC).
