The Hough Huskies (Cornelius, NC) soccer overwhelmed the host Northern Guilford Nighthawks (Greensboro, NC), 9-2 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Huskies now hold a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Middle Creek for a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 23. Hough will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Apex Friendship (Apex, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-0.
With the loss, Northern Guilford drops to 1-3 on the season. The Nighthawks travel to South Iredell (Statesville, NC) to battle the Vikings in a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 2. The Vikings enter the contest with a record of 1-1.
