With the triumph, Montezuma-Cortez moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Panthers host Eagle Valley (Gypsum, CO) to confront the Devils in a non-league outing on Saturday, August 30. The Devils enter the outing with a record of 0-1.

Next up, the Demons confront the Gunnison Cowboys (Gunnison, CO) in a 2A Western Slope - South outing, on Wednesday, September 10. Ridgway will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
