Washington Warriors (Washington, OK) supporters left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Bethany Bronchos (Bethany, OK), 3-2 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Washington improves its record to 9-1 on the year. The Warriors host Casady (Oklahoma City, OK) to play the Cyclones in a non-league game on Thursday, August 28. The Cyclones enter the game with a record of 1-2.
The Bronchos now hold a 2-8 record. They play next when they travel to Alva for a non-league match on Saturday, August 23. Bethany will confront a Goldbugs team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Blanchard (Blanchard, OK). The Goldbugs record now stands at 8-5.
