The Enid Plainsmen softball squad scored 4 runs and restricted the host Blackwell Maroons to 1 in the Plainsmen non-league victory on Friday.
Next, the Plainsmen meet the Perkins-Tryon Demons (Perkins, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 23. Enid will attempt to upgrade on its 8-2 season record. The Demons go into the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 7-5 non-league win over Stroud (Stroud, OK).
The Maroons (2-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Tonkawa (Tonkawa, OK). The Buccaneers go into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Tonkawa held off Enid (Enid, OK), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.
