The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Caddo Bruins (Caddo, OK) and the host Byng Pirates (Ada, OK), saw Caddo's softball squad nip Byng by a score of 3-2.
With the triumph, Caddo improves its record to 5-1 on the year. The Bruins host Oktaha (Oktaha, OK) to face the Tigers in a non-league contest on Friday, August 22. The Tigers enter the contest with a record of 11-1. Oktaha won 12-2 in their recent league contest against Caney Valley (Ramona, OK)
The Pirates now hold a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they host Red Oak for a non-league match on Friday, August 22. Byng will battle a Eagles team coming off a 7-4 non-league loss to Tushka (Atoka, OK). The Eagles record now stands at 3-1.
