River Ridge Knights (Woodstock, GA) backers left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Campbell Spartans (Smyrna, GA), 13-1 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, River Ridge upgrades its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Knights host Cambridge (Milton, GA) to battle the Bears in a non-league bout on Monday, August 25. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 6-1.

In their next game, the Spartans battle the Walton Raiders (Marietta, GA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, August 25. Campbell will attempt to advance on its 2-7 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 7-3 record after their 20-0 league win over Wheeler (Marietta, GA).
