The North Oconee Titans softball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting George Walton Academy Bulldogs to 6 in the Titans non-league win on Friday.

Next, the Titans meet the East Forsyth Broncos (Gainesville, GA) in a 4A Region 8 challenge, on Tuesday, August 26. North Oconee will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Broncos enter the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 12-9 league loss to Walnut Grove (Walnut Grove, GA).

The Bulldogs (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Lanier (Sugar Hill, GA). The Longhorns enter the non-league challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, Lanier was routed by Providence Christian Academy (Lilburn, GA), 4-3, in a non-league challenge.
