In Friday's non-league test, the George Walton Academy Bulldogs (Monroe, GA) softball team routed the visiting South Paulding Spartans (Douglasville, GA), by a margin of 9-1.

The Bulldogs now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Oconee for a non-league outing on Friday, August 22. George Walton Academy will encounter a Titans team coming off a 8-2 non-league loss to Loganville (Loganville, GA). The Titans record now stands at 3-4.

With the loss, South Paulding moves to 2-6 on the season. The Spartans travel to Hebron Christian (Dacula, GA) to encounter the Lions in a non-league outing on Friday, August 22. The Lions come into the outing with a record of 5-0. Hebron Christian won 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Madison County (Danielsville, GA)
