The Harlem Bulldogs softball squad (Harlem, GA), was edged 8-7 in Friday's non-league contest with the host Houston County Bears (Warner Robins, GA)

With the triumph, Houston County advances its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Hebron Christian (Dacula, GA) to clash with the Lions in a non-league bout on Friday, August 22. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 5-0. Hebron Christian won 3-2 in their recent non-league bout against Madison County (Danielsville, GA)

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Glascock County Panthers (Gibson, GA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, August 26. Harlem will attempt to improve on its 8-3 season record. The Panthers enter the contest with a 4-3 record after their 19-13 non-league loss to Evans (Evans, GA).
