The Sperry Pirates (Sperry, OK) softball routed the host Jay Bulldogs (Jay, OK), 13-5 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Pirates now sport a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Heavener for a 3A test on Saturday, August 23. Sperry will clash with a Wolves team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Talihina (Talihina, OK). The Wolves record now stands at 9-5.
In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Pryor Tigers (Pryor, OK) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, August 23. Jay will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 6-0 record after their 25-0 non-league win over Booker T. Washington (Tulsa, OK).
