Mount Paran Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Yellow Jackets enter the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 2-0 league win over Northside (Warner Robins, GA).

The Mustangs (0-7) will now prepare for their battle against Alexander (Douglasville, GA). The Cougars come into the 5A Region 5 battle with a 4-0 record. In their last battle, Alexander ran past East Paulding (Dallas, GA), 6-5, in a league battle.
