The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Thompson Valley Eagles (Loveland, CO) and the visiting Mountain Range Mustangs (Westminster, CO), observed Thompson Valley's softball team get by Mountain Range by a tally of 14-12.

The Eagles (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Dakota Ridge (Littleton, CO). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Dakota Ridge by Brighton (Brighton, CO), 13-3, in a non-league contest.

The Mustangs now hold a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Longmont for a non-league bout on Friday, August 22. Mountain Range will battle a Trojans team coming off a 11-5 non-league loss to Northridge (Greeley, CO). The Trojans record now stands at 1-1.
