In Friday's non-league match, the host Wyandotte Bears softball team scored a nice 16-0 win over the Welch Wildcats.
The Bears (7-2) will now prepare for their match against Jay (Jay, OK). The Bulldogs come into the non-league match with a 1-5 record. In their last match, Jay was routed by Sperry (Sperry, OK), 13-5, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Afton Eagles (Afton, OK) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, August 26. Welch will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 0-6 record after their 16-7 non-league loss to Catoosa (Catoosa, OK).
