The Huntington Red Devils edged the host Anderson-Shiro Fighting Owls volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Friday's non-league game.

Next up, the Red Devils confront the Bridge City Cardinals (Bridge City, TX) in a non-league game, on Friday, August 22. Huntington will attempt to advance on its 10-9 season record. The Cardinals come into the outing with a 12-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Hudson (Lufkin, TX).

With the loss, Anderson-Shiro drops to 3-9 on the campaign. The Fighting owls travel to Woodville (Woodville, TX) to play the Eagles in a non-league game on Friday, August 22.
