Texas High School Volleyball - Birdville over Weatherford

In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Birdville Hawks volleyball team scored a 2-0 win over the Weatherford Kangaroos.

With the win, Birdville improves its record to 11-4 on the season. The Hawks travel to Mansfield (Mansfield, TX) to face the Tigers in a non-league test on Saturday, August 23. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 15-0. Mansfield won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Stephenville (Stephenville, TX)

The Kangaroos now own a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wylie for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 26. Weatherford will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Paschal (Fort Worth, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-4.
