Texas High School Volleyball - Lanier can't hold off Boerne

In Friday's non-league bout, the Boerne Greyhounds (Boerne, TX) volleyball team held off the host Lanier Voks (San Antonio, TX), by a margin of 2-1.

The Greyhounds now possess a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to John Paul II for a non-league match on Friday, August 22. Boerne will battle a Guardians squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Lutheran (San Antonio, TX). The Guardians record now stands at 8-0.

The Voks (2-4) will now prepare for their match against Hidalgo Early College (Hidalgo, TX). The Pirates enter the 4A Region IV District 32 match with a 0-9 record. In their last battle, Hidalgo Early College was edged by Weslaco (Weslaco, TX), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
