Bowie Bulldogs (Austin, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad overcome the visiting Connally Cadets (Waco, TX), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs (12-6) will now prepare for their test against Pflugerville Connally (Austin, TX). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 1-7 record. In their last test, Pflugerville Connally was defeated by Lake Belton (Temple, TX), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Cadets now own a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Stephen's Episcopal for a non-league test on Friday, August 22. Connally will face a Spartans squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Lake Ridge (Mansfield, TX). The Spartans record now stands at 6-11.
