In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Brownsboro Bears volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Dunbar Wildcats.

The Bears (5-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Braswell (Little Elm, TX). The Bengals go into the non-league test with a 4-5 record. In their last test, Braswell achieved victory over Tournament Opponent (, ), 2-1, in a non-league test.

The Wildcats now own a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Everman for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 26. Dunbar will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over South Oak Cliff (Dallas, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-5.
