The Farragut Admirals (Knoxville, TN) volleyball held off the visiting Bryan Station Defenders (Lexington, KY), 2-1 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Admirals now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Sacred Heart for a non-league bout on Saturday, August 23. Farragut will clash with a Valkyries team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Knoxville Catholic (Knoxville, TN). The Valkyries record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, Bryan Station drops to 3-2 on the campaign. The Defenders travel to Dobyns-Bennett (Kingsport, TN) to battle the Indians in a non-league match on Saturday, August 23. The Indians enter the match with a record of 1-1. Dobyns-Bennett lost 3-2 in their recent league match against Science Hill (Johnson City, TN)
